Hungary’s largest Carpathian Basin gastronomic festival, attracting over 400,000 visitors and featuring more than 150 exhibitors.

About the EventCake workshop at Avenue of Hungarian Flavours 2025, Buda Castle Budapest

Now in its 15th year, the festival showcases the richness, diversity, and traditions of Hungarian gastronomy, from unique techniques to unforgettable flavours.

Visitors will have the first opportunity to taste the winners of the Cake of Hungary and Sugar-Free Cake of Hungary competitions, as well as the St. Stephen’s Day Bread, the Innovative Bread of the Year, and the Layered Pastry of the Year.

The 2025 thematic focus is “Game & Fish”, celebrating Hungarian game meat and freshwater fish specialities. This year’s guest of honour is Transcarpathia, offering an insight into the life, traditions, and culinary culture of Hungarians living in this historic region.
