Buda Castle District Tour – Private Group Booking Conditions

• All group bookings are non-cancellable and non-refundable once payment has been made.
• Rescheduling: Date changes may be requested at least 3 working days in advance. We reserve the right to approve or decline rescheduling requests depending on the booked programme, guide availability, attraction availability and the feasibility of arranging the requested changes. If rescheduling is approved, a €90 administration fee applies.
• Guide cancellation: A refund will be issued only if the assigned private guide cancels and no replacement guide can be arranged within 25 minutes of the scheduled start time.
• Attraction tickets and cancellations: Where admission tickets are booked and prepaid as part of the private tour on behalf of the group, the individual attraction’s own booking, modification, cancellation and refund conditions apply. We cannot accept responsibility for closures, cancellations, changes of opening hours, timed-entry restrictions or other operational decisions made by the attractions. If an attraction cancels a prepaid admission, any refund will be limited to the amount actually refundable by the attraction under its applicable terms. Some advance or timed-entry tickets may be non-refundable and/or non-modifiable.
• On-the-spot admission: Whenever reasonably possible, we recommend purchasing admission tickets on the spot to provide greater flexibility and reduce inconvenience in the event of operational changes. Advance booking is recommended or required where an attraction operates with strict timed-entry slots, limited capacity or mandatory advance reservations, e.g. St Stephen’s Hall (inside the Royal Palace Wing)
• Late arrival / no-show: Late arrival does not extend the scheduled tour duration. No-shows and unused services are non-refundable.
• Attraction access: Opening hours, admission procedures, timed-entry availability and visitor access are controlled by the individual attractions and may change without prior notice. Such changes do not constitute cancellation of the private guiding service.
• Tour content and special interests: Guests are very welcome to ask questions and express an interest in particular aspects of Buda Castle during the tour. If your group would like more in-depth information on a particular topic, historical period or attraction, please let the guide know, preferably at the beginning of the tour. Within the scheduled duration and practical limitations of the programme, the guide will be happy to adapt the commentary and place greater emphasis on the group’s areas of interest.
• Itinerary and route changes: The advertised or agreed itinerary is indicative and may be adjusted by the guide where reasonably necessary due to traffic or pedestrian conditions, closures, construction works, attraction access, opening hours, weather, security measures, events, group pace or other circumstances affecting the tour. The guide reserves the right to alter the order, route or individual elements of the itinerary in order to provide the most suitable programme within the booked tour duration.
