  1. I am interested in the Inclusions in Castle District Tour and would like to clarify whether the tower at Matthias Church is included in the package. I understand that the tour includes a visit inside the church, but I noticed that the tower is open only until 4:30 PM, while the tour ends at 5:00 PM.

If the tower visit is not included, could you please advise on how I could visit it? Would there be enough time during the tour, or should I plan to see it before or after?

    Thank you for your help!

    • Dear Alexandru,

Thank you for your message. The Tower experience is like a stand alone programme, so you will need two separate purchases if you are interested in both programmes.
The Matthias Church Tower Visit is a separate experience from visiting the church interior and requires a different ticket.

Tower Tours Start Every 30 Minutes, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, daily. Ticket Includes a Short Guided Tour.
Each tower visit begins with a 10-minute guided introduction, led by a staff member. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early at the tower entrance so the tour can begin on time. 197 Steps to the Top. The panoramic terrace is only accessible by stairs. There is no elevator or toilet in the tower, so please plan accordingly.

The view from the top offers stunning 360° panoramas of Budapest, including Buda Castle, the Danube, and Parliament.
