Hi, I and my wife would be interested in taking this Buda castle & funicular ride but without Danube cruise as we are having the latter on on our (already booked) Parliament tour. Could such booking be made ?
Regards,
Caslav
Hello Caslav,
thank you for contacting us.
Yes, of course, we are happy to prepare you and your wife a private offer, which would include any requested program you prefer.
Would you like to receive a private offer?
Hi,
We are two couples traveling with a baby and a 3 year old. Is the tour OK to bring small children on and would it require we buy a ticket for either of the children?
Regards,
Tracy
Hello Tracy,
under 3 years of age, the use of Funicular is free.
For children between 3 and 14, a single ticket is HUF 700.
I hope I could be of help.
Would a brief stop at Ruszwurm Confectionery be allowed during the tour? We would love to have a few minutes to stop in, it is very close to Mattias Church.
Thank you very much
Dear Nicholas,
if you book this program, it will be a private tour, so it shouldn’t be a problem to alter the schedule a little bit.
Hello, is the funicular ticket included for both directions or would my group need to purchase a one-way ticket to get up the hill, because I understand that it is an uphill climb to reach the meeting point?
Thank you very much
Dear Nicholas,
this tour includes only a one-way ticket to the Funicular (it is after the walking tour, when you leave the Castle area with the Funicular and go to the dock). Of course, if you wish to use the Funicular to get up to the hill as well, you can purchase an additional ticket on the spot.
Hello, I just purchased two tickets for the castle/funicular/boat tour on 3/23 at 4:00 pm. I have the email from PayPal confirming that I paid, but I have no email from you with either confirmation or my tickets. Can you please help?
Dear Liza,
thank you, the confirmation email has been re-sent to you.

Buda Castle Tour with Funicular Ride and River Cruise– i have read the tour route, but it is not clear about which buildings will be entered? Thanks.
Dear Zada,
thank you for contacting us about the tour: the walking tour is is an open air walking tour around the buildings of the Buda Castle. After or before the tour you can visit the various buildings (visitors usually use a Budapest Card for that or buy the cheap entry fee on the spot, around 6 Euros depending on which building you wish to visit. Please note, however, that temporary exhibitions are typically more expensive, so the cheap rate is only for the permanent exhibitions, which would still allow you to take a look at the immense interiors of the Castle buildings and its many wings). In short, there is no entry included in the price, but the tour is very informative and a nice walk with historical and fun facts about the Buda Castle and its many buildings, courtyards, balustrades, balconies etc.
