  1. Is there any way we could please book to do the Night Castle Tour on Sunday 8th April. We can’t do it on the website. It is for 2 people.

  2. Sorry, I am the first time to be at Budapest. I may want to join the tour at 27/12 or 28/12. As I know that the public transport will be run under year-end schedule during these 2 days. May I know how can I come / leave before and after the tour at night ? Thanks

    • Dear Moonie,
the Night Tour ends at 11pm. Luckily the Castle Bus (bus no. 16) is running until 11.47 pm every night, so you will be able to leave the Castle area after the tour.

How far is castle from parliament? Is it possible to finish the parliament tour of 45 mins, have lunch and then reach the castle?

      • Hello Satyajit,
        Thank you for your comment.
The Parliament and Buda Castle is approx a half an hour – 40min walk (through Chain Bridge).
We recommend taking a bit more exta time as the way is filled with amazing photo opportunities.
Have a nice holiday in Budapest!

  3. Will we have time to take photo for the beautiful night view of Budapest during this tour ?

    • Dear Charlie,
of course, you will have the opportunity to take photos, just let the tour guide know when you would like to stop.

  4. Hi,

I am traveling with a party of 5 looking to do the night tour tomorrow (8/1). Is there any room available? Cannot make booking online. Thank you!!

  5. Hey
We really want to go on this tour but we can’t pay with paypal. Is there another solution?

  6. Dear Buda Castle Team,

From where does this tour start?
Also from Holy Trinity Square, so the same place as the day tour?
I also have a question about the student price.
We are two 22 year old actively enrolled students, is that sufficient to pay the student price?

    Many thanks!

    Regards,
    Jesse

    • Dear Jesse,
The meeting point of the Castle Night Tour is at the Statue of the Zero Kilometre Stone near the Funicular at the foot of the Buda Castle Hill (Buda side of the Chain Bridge), on Clark Adam Square.
Yes, you can buy a student ticket, but please make sure you will have a valid student ID card with you to show upon arrival.

  7. Many thanks for your reply!

  8. Hello,
Is there any way possible to do the night tour of Buda Castle tonight? There are 2 of us. We’re from Canada, and it’s our only night in Budapest.
    Thank you,

  9. Hello there,

I would like to ask what’s the difference between public night tour and private night tour.

    Thank you in advance,
    Mary

    • Dear Mary,

thank you for contacting us regarding Night Tours in the Buda Castle in Budapest.
The difference between public and private tours is that in case of a private tour you have your own guide booked solely for you. Furthermore the route can be customized to your preferences if you wish.
Have a great stay in the Hungarian capital!

  10. Dear Sir, dear Madam

I am part of a non-profit organisation group of 23 students between the age of 13 to 20, and two responsibles from Luxembourg.
We will be on a cultural visit in Budapest from the 7th to the 10th of April.
Would it be possible to get a group price?

What day is best to do the Buda Castle Night Tour Booking – Buda Castle?
If you require more information, please let us know. We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Kind regards,
    Nickels Leny

  12. We have 2 children- 11 and 14 yaers old. Is ti problem that the younger one is not 12 years old? We would all like to go ona a night tour. Also, they are stil in elementary school, they don’t have students ID. What should we do about that?

    Kind regards,
    Vedrana

    • Hello Vedrana
thank you for getting in touch with us.
Student tickets: it is fine for children to join for the Student rate without their student ID’s (this applies for children under 16 years of age).
The tour is suitable for children over 8 years old / with parental guidance.

Hope we can welcome you at the Buda Castle Night Tour!

  13. Hi, I am a university student in UK and hoping to join the tour. May I check if my university ID from UK is accepted? Do I need to bring another form of ID that shows my age (it is not printed on my student ID)?

    • Hello Esu,
Thank you for checking before visiting the castle area.
International Student ID’s are accepted, you can also present a copy of your ID or passport along with it.
Hope we can welcome you at Buda Castle Budapest!

    • Dear Esu,
      Thank you for contacting us.
